As a Home Health Caregiver at Divine Wellness Home Health, you will play an essential role in providing in-home care for seniors and individuals with special needs. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help clients maintain their independence in a safe, supportive environment. By working closely with our care team and families, you will ensure that each client’s unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. 

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred, but not required for the right candidates.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A passion for caregiving and a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors and individuals with special needs.
  • Physical ability to assist with mobility and lifting as required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends or evenings, as required.

Bonuses

Sign-On Bonus:
We are offering a $1200 Sign-On Bonus for qualified caregivers who join our team! 

Bonus Details:
  • The bonus will be paid in two installments: $600 after completing your first 30 days of employment and an additional $600 after 4 months of continuous service.
  • Eligibility requires full-time or part-time employment (PRN positions do not qualify).
  • Caregivers must maintain good standing and meet performance expectations to receive the full bonus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the Home Health Caregiver:
  • Personal Care Support: Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help clients with transfers, safe ambulation, and the use of mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.
  • Companionship & Engagement: Foster positive relationships by engaging clients in meaningful conversation, activities, and social interaction, reducing isolation and loneliness.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and keeping the living area clean and safe.
  • Health & Wellness Monitoring: Observe clients for changes in their physical or emotional condition and promptly report these to the care coordinator and family members.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time, as per their care plan.
  • Transportation & Errands: Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, or to run errands, ensuring that clients stay connected to their communities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Divine Wellness team to ensure that all aspects of the client’s care plan are followed and updated as needed.
